SYNOPSIS

A boatman carries the inhabitants of a village from one shore to the other of a river. The man also helps to land in the other world those who are on the verge of death. When he falls in love with a young woman with a terminal illness, all his beliefs will sink.

An epic, illuminating and poignant film, where a good life is as important as a good death.
